Our Story
The journey began when Carlos started crafting his own toys as a child. With modest means and parents unable to afford life’s extras, he turned to creativity and resourcefulness. Skills that would shape his future.

From a young age, Carlos honed his abilities with tools, developing a deep connection with wood and its many forms. At 15, he took his first steps into the world of carpentry, starting as a labourer before earning an apprenticeship. After spending his school holidays gaining hands-on experience, he finally secured his first role as a professional carpenter.

In 1995, Carlos moved to the UK, expanding his expertise across various disciplines. From shuttering to joinery and fine cabinetry. Largely self-taught through books and specialist magazines, he built a reputation for quality, dedication, and a continual drive to learn.

His career culminated in a role as a quality manager for a prestigious high-end developer in central London, where he led with the same craftsmanship and passion that first emerged in his childhood workshop.
