This project involved the careful repair and restoration of a worn wooden staircase that had become creaky, unstable, and in need of attention. Working in situ, we assessed each step, tread, and joint, replacing damaged sections with matching hardwood and reinforcing the structure to ensure long-term safety and stability.

Where possible, original materials were retained to preserve the character of the staircase. Loose treads were secured, damaged risers replaced. The staircase was then sanded and refinished with a durable natural oil to restore the wood’s warmth and highlight its grain.

This repair reflects our approach to traditional timber work, respecting existing features while improving functionality and finish. Whether it's a full staircase build or targeted restoration, we bring craftsmanship and care to every detail.
